I get inspired by nature and like to paint mostly landscapes. I get strong feelings just by looking at the countryside. Sometimes I find nature overwhelming, it arouses me, and with the help of oils, I try to express the beauty I see. I like layers over layers of paint, it gives depth to my paintings and makes them vivid and alive. I like to think that when people look at my work it reminds them of a place they have been before, a beach, a field, a little village in the middle of no where. I like looking at the horizon, it gives me peace.

I hope that my work challenges people’s emotions the same way it does mine. It’s when you feel something that the work is majestic.
